Police officer mistakenly shoots daughter
Her father, 41-year-old Eric Scott, was awakened by motion sensor lights in his backyard and when he went to investigate found the basement door unlocked. He then saw someone in a basement bathroom and fired his service pistol, hitting his daughter in the knee.
He pulled the trigger of a gun without knowing who the gun was pointing at. That is indicative of the retarded attitude of the “guns make us safer” crowd. When you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
As I’ve said, I’m not anti-gun, I’m anti-guns-make-us-safer.
another little item.
to date the US has allowed less than 600 Iraq citizens that are fleeing the war entrance to the US. 18,000 have gone to the UK.
Meanwhile we allow how many millions of Mexicans to cross our southern borders illegally???
and our current admin. wants to grant them amnesty?

I am not anti gun either. However Americans like to shoot each other. We shoot each other more than any other developed country on the planet.
In many countries the police do not even carry guns.
One of our host/guides in Norway said Norway, the entire country, has had “one armed burglary” in the past decade….while I find that number hard to believe….I am in Vegas right now and I am pretty sure there has been at least three armed burglaries in the hotel lobby this morning….
I know I was robbed last night at the Craps table…however no one was armed. My cash was surrendered through bad luck and stupidity.
One of the questions younger Norwegians asked our American students was “does everyone have a gun” and “have you shot anyone with it?”
The perception is that we really enjoy shooting each other.
